Research shows that touch is as

essential to proper human

development as food, warmth,

and shelter.

Baby Massage is a magical ingredient

 that lets communication occur through

the parents’ loving touch.  All the critical

elements of  bonding are included: eye

to eye, and  skin  to skin contact, smell,

 smiling, soothing sounds, and cuddling.

The benefits of baby massage are for both infant and parents. Infants benefit physically and emotionally, and parents learn the power of their own skilled, nurturing touch.

This is one delightful way Dad can definitely interact with his newborn, and know he’s contributing to the baby’s immediate well-being.

Baby massage:

¨       helps infants digest better, relieves gas or colic

¨       enhances muscle tone, coordination and brain function

¨       stimulates circulation & healing of any birth-related trauma

¨       calms the baby’s nervous system

¨       establishes a pattern of relaxation at an early age

¨       helps parents and children grow closer

In addition to Baby Massage done at home, parents may opt to bring their infant to my office for a craniosacral session, to reorganize and revitalize the baby from the many stresses of a healthy birth.

If there are issues from a problematical birth or hospital techniques (forceps, suction), a few more sessions may help the baby’s system.
